Leave your cares at the shore, hop onto your boat to take a short boat trip around to the other side of Batchelors Island to your cottage just 50 feet from your boat and the river. Water ski, swim, fish, or just cruise 8 miles up and down the St. Joseph River. Sit on the dock and watch the river flow by. If mosquitoes come out, then move to the screen porch. On cool evenings put a fire in the living room fireplace talk with friends or family or just be quiet, When the sun goes down, it is completely dark so you can see stars. Or start a fire in the outside fire pit to roast marshmallows. Wake up to the sun rising behind the trees across the river and sit with a cup of coffee. Then do it all over again.
