Inquiring Minds is one of two bookstores that you can get lost in, and their lattes are great). The Saugerties movie theater is absolutely adorable, with mainstream and select foreign films. The Saugerties Lighthouse and trail is 3 minutes driving, or one hour out and back walking, and is absolutely stunning. I recommend taking in the sunset here often and seeing the Hudson river, the geese returning, and the scenery change daily. There is a grocery store in the village or an Adams and Hannaford 15 min away in Kingston, along with all the big box stores. Saugerties is a charming town in the heart of the Hudson Valley.
