Webster Wagner was an American Inventor, Manufacturer and a Politician. He was born right here in Palatine Bridge. He was a New York State Senator from 1872 until 1882 when he died. After serving as an employee for the New York Central Railroad, Wagner invented the sleeping car and luxurious parlor car. He also perfected a system of ventilating railroad cars. The nearly half acre lot is up for sale. It is mostly level with water, sewer and natural gas by the street. It sits on the north side of State Highway 5 with view of the Mohawk River.
