This home was built in two phases. The original house was completed in the 1930s. The expansion to the current size occurred after WW II. Since we purchased the house in 2002 we have remodeled the home office/computer room (2002), the kitchen (2003), the family room/theater (2004), and the laundry/mud room (2006). A new high-efficiency furnace and central air unit were installed in 2005. The cement driveway was replaced in 2007. The firebox for the fireplace was replaced in 2007 and the chimmney was re-pointed and cleaned. Neighborhood Description This is a quiet neighborhood with many families and close to a great city park. Residents are friendly and are often seen strolling with kids and pets. It is convenient to shopping, campus, and the downtown. AATA bus lines run down Huron (a block away).
