Peace, beauty, and safety abound here, yet you will be less than 5 miles from downtown. It's a friendly neighborhood that's great for walking, and a park, a beach and a trail are just 1/4 mile from your apartment. A Larry Scott trailhead for walking and cycling is a mile away. Your private entrance is via a professionally landscaped/maintained front yard then under a grapevine- and rose-adorned trellis. Constantly changing views of Discovery Bay and the Olympic Mountains will follow you inside. On clear days, watch the morning light walk down the Olympics. The afternoon and evening light is especially nice, and the sunsets are often magical. Leaves on the trellis provide shade in summer over your entry, then retreat in fall to allow the sun to in. It is a long rectangle with a front and a back area that are separated by french doors. Because the two spaces are long instead of square, they each support multiple, distinct uses. The apartment comes fully furnished (mostly optional), has tons of storage, and the rent covers utilities, including electric, water, trash and high-speed WiFi. The main area in front is 675 sq. feet with living, dining, food prep and sleeping areas. A screen separates the bed from the rest of this space. The unit has its own heat pump with A/C and a remote. The full bathroom has a deep tub for comfortable soaking. Main space furnishing include a 55" smart TV ( 1 year old); TV stand, couch, a HUGE lounging cushion, a dining table for up to 6 persons, a bar with 2 stools, a comfortable queen bed with 4 large drawers underneath plus linens, dishes, and cooking utensils. The 325 sq. ft. room in the back part has no windows but is well lit and is accessed via french doors in the apartment. It's length allows multiple activities such as art, yoga, &/or music; office work; sleeping; and/or storage. Its furnishings include a large armoire with double doors and 4 drawers, a queen futon, extensive shelving and a large refrigerator. To expand food prep and cleanup areas, the cooking appliances are here, adjacent to the front kitchen and by the refridgerator. They can be moved to the front kitchen if desired. In addition to these spaces, your apartment has direct access to a well-lit large unfinished space for longer term storage. It's dimensions are NOT included in the 1000 sq. feet of living area. Appliances include a coffee maker, a large microwave, 2 induction cook plates, and a full-size refrigerator. The oven is an XL (30-Qt) Smart Oven has an w/ an Integrated Thermometer that can be used to control cooking and it has 12 functions including Air Fry, Toast, Grill, Griddle, Dehydrate, and Yogurt. The oven and refrigerator are less than 1 year old. You will have access to two off-street parking and a shared washer & dryer. The washer & dryer are less than one year old and have all the latest bells & whistles including wrinkle release and sanitizing. Access to on-site EV charging and an organic vegetable & fruit garden with raised beds and a greenhouse is negotiatable. Notes: 1.
