Huge 100+ year old pin oak in backyard. 5 minute walk to Carr Park and wooded trails on the Skunk River. 15 minute walk downtown, to Farmer's market and coffeeshops. 1 block away from Cyride bus stops on the red line, which go right to ISU campus. A little gem! There are two way we could do the lease. The first way is that $880 is the cost of just renting the house, and I would then require utilities payments for all utilities (gas, electric, water, garbage) and Metronet internet service each month in one lump sum, as I will keep all the bills in my name. If we went this route, as soon as I received the bill, I would text a photo of it to you. The second way we could do it is that tenant(s) would pay $1200 each month, which includes all utilities (gas, electric, water, garbage) and Metronet internet service. At the end of lease, we could look at monthly amounts of utilities & internet bills and reconcile amounts owed--I might owe you money back, or you might owe me more money. This home would be ideal for a grad student from far away, or for international students/travelers. The home will be partially furnished with a full bed with drawers underneath, a twin bed with drawers underneath, 2 desks, a couch, a dining room table and chairs, a piano, and several bookshelves. The lease is flexible, anywhere from 1-10 months. We will be returning to our home in the summer to stay from mid-June to mid-August 2023, so we will be storing our things in the garage and attic (so garage and attic are off-limits for renters). Renters can park in the driveway or on the street in front of the house. Renters are responsible for mowing when needed (mower provided) and snow removal (shovel provided) from the front sidewalk and the driveway if needed.
