The schools are top-notch, the homes are beautiful, and the park itself is a busy social hub. This neighborhood has a great community spirit- this particular section of Granger Avenue is THE place for trick-or-treating on Halloween. We get hundreds of cute kids each year, and the whole neighborhood goes all out- great decorations, sound effects, even a garage band. There are summer block parties. The families in the neighborhood range from families with young children to people who have lived here 25-30 years or more. We are walking distance to campus, but this is not a student neighborhood. Mostly people are professionals with advanced degrees, many are affiliated with the university.
