Holiday Island is a "not so hidden" gem in Tierra Verde, enroute to Fort DeSoto. Built in 1990, this property allows short-term rentals with a minimum term of one night. The resort amenities include a beautiful waterfront setting with incredible views of Tampa Bay and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. There is a observation dock for communal use that includes BBQ grills and picnic tables. There is a large, waterfront, geo-thermally heated pool. In addition, there are two lighted tennis courts; a clubhouse; fitness center; billiards table; community laundry; kayak and bike storage; and a small marina with one transient/day dock available. Within the 70-unit development, there are only 20 units that are truly waterfront. Only ten of those enjoy the advantage of having the elevated view of the second-story. Of those 10, only 4 are corner units with a larger balcony & more square footage. This unit is one of those lucky few! Do the math: 4/70 is in the top 6%! Unit 14 is, as mentioned, a corner unit on the second floor of Building A. It has recently been painted throughout, had a new vinyl-click laminate floor installed - which is PERFECT for a vacation rental as it is exceptionally durable and very water-resistant. New televisions, furnishings and various 'bits and bobs' have been added to make this rental property a perfect 'home away from home.' There is no restriction as to Owner Stays. Indeed there are some full-time residents! Only Owners may have one small pet. Reservations already in place for 2018 & 2019!
