    What's special

    Home is known as a "Splancher." Split level/rancher. The original home was built in 1978, and had an addition on the home approximately early 1990s. The remodel included adding a larger kitchen to the back of the house, as sunken family room and office. New roof was installed in 2015, new seamless metal siding installed in 2008, Front door was moved from it's original location to one of more convenience- directly into the front main living room. New gas forced air furnace installed in 2016. House has Gas forced air heater serving the entire home, except for the two upstairs rooms and upper level bathroom. Those are heated by baseboard heat - which are never used due to heat rising and keeping those rooms comfortable. Home has a wrap around wood deck attached to the rear of the home with a covered deck adjacent the family room, accessible by an 8 ft. sliding glass door. New dishwasher installed in 2017. New Induction cook top installed in 2016. Front parking circle was paved in 2014. In 2018, Living room has been fully remodeled and renovated. The original house had a kitchen, which was later converted to a dining room after the back part of the house addition was made. The dining room was dark and cramped due to a coat closet which served the former front door location. The coat closet has been removed to create a larger open feel to the living room. Old style diagonal cedar plank wall cover was removed from dining room, and near stair wall and was replaced by textured painted drywall. All new laminate flooring has been installed in the kitchen and replaced the old carpet in the living room. The stairs have bee updated with stair sideboards installed giving a classier look, new carpet was installed on stairs and upper landing. All new drywall ceiling was installed in the living room and upper landing ceiling to mitigate the for "popcorn" ceiling and was finished with a skip trowel textured finish. Additional recessed LED lights were added to the living room, and a new desk alcove was created at the rear of the former dining room after the HVAC intake was relocated. New LED lights were also added above the kitchen counter. New dining area lighting fixture was installed. All lighting in dining room, living room and above kitchen counter have been upgraded with sliding dimmer switches. New 3" baseboard was installed around living room, dining room, upper level landing and kitchen. Wood ceiling corner molding was installed along with all new window trim and door trim. New refrigerator water supply box was installed in wall to provide water for refrigerator and ice-maker. Rear deck surface planks and support joists were all replaced, with new stair/steps replacing the weathered for steps. front composite deck has had a bench installed to accommodate additional seating for afternoon front porch visits.
