The house is situated one mile from downtown, several restaurants and shops, and the Oklawaha Greenway. Just minutes from Dupont, Pisgah, downtown Asheville, breweries, & vineyards, this home is perfectly central while still being quiet. Enjoy a relaxing morning with coffee on the front porch, or a fun evening around the campfire in the backyard while grilling out. The house is just over 1100 square feet and has 3 bedrooms, a half bath at the front of the house, and 1 full bath located at the back of the house. Bedroom 1 has a brand new memory foam King bed; Bedroom 2 has a brand new memory foam Queen bed; Bedroom 3 has a single sleeper futon (set up prior to check-in upon request only). All rooms have complete bedding, extra pillows and spacious closets with additional dressers for storage. If you need additional sleep space or for parties of more than 5 guests, we can provide a deluxe queen air mattress with bedding (upon request only). If you request to use the deluxe queen air mattress, please note- this is not routinely set up/made by housekeeping prior to check in. Please let us know during booking if you plan to use the air mattress and if you would like this to be set up/made prior to checking in. The same applies with the single sleeper futon in bedroom 3. We will do our best to accommodate any requests! The front exterior has a newly built, covered porch complete with a set of patio chairs perfect for morning coffee or a glass of wine to end your day. Off the back of the house is a covered patio for grilling out, as well as a large back yard for relaxing around the fire pit. The cozy living room has a leather love seat and couch, and an upholstered recliner chair. Extra blankets are available in every bedroom closet as well as in the basket you will find in the living room. The living room fireplace is an original piece left for display only- please do not attempt to start a fire in it. If you want more heat or cooler air, feel free to use the Nest thermostat located in the dining room adjacent to the refrigerator or the Dyson heater/fan. Please adjust the thermostat to your comfort level and do not set AC below 66 or the heat above 73. The half bath located at the front of the house has a combination tub / shower that is currently not for guest use (renovation of this bathroom coming soon). The brand new full bath at the back of the house has a combination tub / shower which is perfect for both kids and adults. The bathroom vanity is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash should you forget to pack your own. Plenty of cotton bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths can be found on the shelves behind the door, and inside the vanity located in the full bath. The newly renovated bright, open kitchen has all new appliances, including a full sized refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and electric range. You will find cooking necessities including a large blender, waffle maker, toaster, coffee maker, and electric kettle. There's a small dining table that can double as a workspace, as well as basic cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink should they be needed. The laundry room/pantry located in the back of the house has a brand new, full-sized washer and dryer for guests to use during their stay. Laundry detergent, and an iron and ironing board are also provided. A fire extinguisher should you need it is located down low, to the right of the dryer. Also stored in the laundry room, feel free to use the set of 4 camping chairs! Did you bring your kids? There are board games, and a Nintendo switch in the entertainment center! Ask about our pack and play if you are traveling with small children. WIFI is available. There is a Roku TV in the master bedroom, and a Smart TV with Roku streaming stick in the main living area. Feel free to log into your Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney + or YouTube TV account as both TVs are in Guest Mode and will require log in. PLEASE NOTE: This listing is a work in progress. The inside is very cozy and ready for you to stay! We have completely renovated (almost) every room in the entire home. Final renovations to the "half bath" at the front of the house will expand the space to serve as a functional full bath for guests booking in 2023! Please contact me if you are looking for a lease shorter or longer than a month, as I may be able to make available depending on time of year. Owner pays utilities. No pets allowed. No smoking allowed. Trash and recycling cans must be taken to the end of the driveway on Wednesday night. The living room fireplace is for display only, not for use. Please enjoy the vinyl records and record player with care. Please observe quiet hours between 9pm-7am. No smoking anywhere on property. No pets. No access to garage, attic or cellar. Bath/Shower combo is not functional in bathroom adjacent to living room (Can be used as half bath as the toilet and sink work great!).
