    Propane bbq

Room available in shared home. As a longtime Snoqualmie Valley resident, I'm of the opinion that this house and the 8 acres it sits on has the best location/view in the whole valley. It's on the top of a hill so it gets nice morning/daytime light, and it overlooks the valley giving it unreal sunset views. The room is available for move-in now. The first floor of the house includes the living room and kitchen, laundry room, a half bathroom and tons of storage in a closet under the stairs. The kitchen is outfitted with a gas stove + oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. Large open cooking space with natural light and views. The house has a generator to keep things running if needed if the power goes out, and A/C to keep cool in whatever sort of heat waves the NW future may hold. You will not have sleep interrupted by loud city noises-- the house is at the end of a sleepy road with plenty of space away from the neighbors. The house is furnished; the bedroom is not. The backyard has two great decks for hanging out/overlooking the valley and mountains. There's a firepit, a propane BBQ, Two sheds, also with some available storage. The house is in an ideal location: 23 minutes from the ski area, surrounded by hiking trails, plenty of great rivers and lakes to swim in and float down the summer, and 31 minutes from downtown Seattle or University of Washington. I do have a very well behaved, loving dog that lives at the house but comes to work with me everyday. No other pets, as a general rule. There is an HOA restriction on the number of animals, and if an exception was approved, they would entail an additional deposit and fees. First, last and deposit required before move in. Utilites are split among housemates - Comcast Xfinity internet, propane heat, ect. Generally comes to 70-130/month ($93/month was the average last year). House is furnished; the bedroom is not. 12 month lease preferred, though the biggest criteria is people that are good to live with, so if you're only here for the winter season, we can talk about month-to-month. About me: Male, 35 - North Bend local. Very clean. Work full time in the valley in the outdoors industry. Was working remotely for the pandemic, but now I'm back in the office every day. I have a busy schedule between work and outdoor pursuits (hiking/snowboarding/surfing), but I enjoy cooking meals when I get down time around the house. Vaccinated. I've lived in all sorts of different living situations, from university houses packed with roommates to ski town cabins by myself. Generally I'm happy and easy to get along with. You'll be sharing the house with me, my girlfriend, and other housemates (ages 28-41). We're all very outdoors oriented, clean/organized, and moderately social, though we all have busy lives outside of the house so it is often quiet here. It's a really nice living dynamic and we're looking for someone that continues this good fit. Another bedroom will be coming available soon, so if you have a friend, let them know! If you want to just have a comfortable place to sleep and keep to yourself beyond the occasional polite interaction in the shared kitchen/ dining room, that works well. Or, if you're looking to be a bit more social with the occasional shared meal, or trip to the river, even better! If you're looking for a party house, this is not the house you're looking for. About you: - any gender, orientation or age welcome! - non smoker - have had positive roommate relationship(s) in the past (so you know the 101s/are a considerate cohabiter) -working professional -good at cleaning up after yourself in common spaces If interested, please include information in the reply to help me get to know you, like telling me: - why you are moving - what you're like as a housemate - what you do for work - what you like to do with your time - what you're looking for in a place - links to social media accounts Utilites are split among housemates - Comcast Xfinity internet, propane heat, ect. Generally comes to 70-130/month ($93/month was the average last year). House is furnished; the bedroom is not.
