    What's special

Tiny libraryHardwood floors flowingFat henMaster room

Thank you for looking at our townhome :) The house has a light and bright open living & dining room with hardwood floors flowing to west facing balcony. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, including a master room with balcony & shared bath w/dual sinks. One bedroom with a full bath is on the first floor. There is an attached one-car garage. The carpet and floor were upgraded in every room. The neighborhood is amazingly convenient. Within walking distance, you can find downtown Ballard shopping, dining, Ballard farmer's market, and all kinds of parks. Express transit is easy to commute to Downtown Seattle, the south lake union. (And here is what we would really like to say to our future tenant...) We had the best time living in Ballard. It's an old town by the water, and everything is sort of shaped by such history and landscape. Grabbing a cup of matcha coffee and sitting outside the Miro Tea, listening to the bell ring at Marvin's Garden is probably one of the best ways to enjoy the sunset at the old town square. The Ballard Farmers Market not just has the best cider and flowers, but also has the cutest dogs of all breeds (you can tell which stall has the best food by watching how hard people pull the leash of their dogs :p) And there's no need to introduce the Sawyer, the Fat Hen (one of the best brunch in Seattle), the Rosellini (amazing almond croissant!), the Ballard Consignment Store...the list can go on forever. All of them are within walking distance. And if you happen to be a runner, running on 32th street and having the ever-changing color of Puget Sound by your side is just a therapeutic experience. Every house has a unique decorated front yard, whether it's a wood sign of a sad face with "be happy" carved on it, or a pile of hyacinth by a tiny library, or an entire house painted by Henry's art. We have always wished to spend more time walking in the neighborhood during the summer as there're endless spots to explore. Summer is the most gorgeous season in the neighborhood, and we are looking forward to you enjoying all the lovely things here. We are looking for a credit score of 700+, and a monthly income 3x over rent. We would need a background check, a bank statement for the last two months (to verify income), contact information from at least one landlord who can provide feedback on the tenant (we expect no negative feedback such as late payment, complaint from the neighbor, significant damage of the property etc. Unless it is your first time renting and we would evaluate the case), and the renter's insurance. We would also need the first month's rent and security deposit (one month's rent) paid by signing. We do not accept smoking or cosigner. Overnight guests longer than 7 days would need the landlord's consent. Pets over 30 lbs are not allowed. The tenant would need to pay for utilities including water, gas, electric, network, etc. We will do a move-in checklist and have two parties agree on any damages prior to the lease term; the same process will occur at move-out.
