THE GOOD: * Great proximity to bus lines, short north, downtown, Cleveland Avenue shopping; walking distance to fantastic/new Linden recreation center * Small house set at back of property with privacy fence leaves plenty of room for outdoor enjoyment, garden beds, and the possibility of adding another house/structure (if/as code allows) * Bonus room acted as an unofficial extra bedroom for former tenants—good for storage * Plenty of attic space that could possibly become living space * Overall cuteness from the outside THE BAD: * The former tenants were VERY HARD on the property. There is significant damage to drywall, doors, floors, and windows. The plumbing seems fine but the bathroom needs a complete redo (optimist: it’s an opportunity!) * This place needs a lot of work by someone who has skills (and/or a contractor) and can see the possibilities * There is a persistent roof leak near the rear gable that needs to be fixed. Many have tried but all have failed. It might be rocket science.
