We poured a concrete - stamped and accented patio below the deck. Also added a 6Kw solar panel system (valued at $22,000 with a 25 year warranty). The electric company stated that this system adds 17% to the value of your house. In fact, in our first 6 month of having the system we have saved over $700. Plus, we now have 2 full and 2 half baths.
