I am Looking for one nice tenant for this cute one bedroom English Basement apartment located in Capitol Hill. It has one bedroom, lining room, full bath with tub, kitchen, and a separate utility room with a washer and dryer. It is 1.5 blocks to the Potomac Ave metro. There is a 3 bedroom occupied main home above the apartment and the tenant leaving says the tenants above are a bit noisy in the am! It has been rented seattle's before for seven years and this is the first time I've had a complaint about the upstairs, but I just wanted you to know in case you're a very light sleeper! Easy access to Eastern Marker, the Capitol, Library of Congress, Union Station, Georgetown Law School, the Supreme Court and the Senate and House office buildings. Enjoy coffee shops, stores and Nationals baseball games.. Historic Eastern Market, which has been operating for over 150 years, is open every day of the week except Monday. It has fresh foods, vegetables and baked goods all week. On the weekends, it is a flea, local artist and antique market RESTAURANTS, COFFEE SHOPS and LIQUOR STORES. There are many restaurant and coffee shops within a short walk from the apartment with almost any kind of food you want. There are restaurants on Pennsylvania Avenue heading east along the 16 blocks to the US Capitol. There are restaurants on 8th Street (head towards Starbucks and turn right on Eighth Street). That area is called Barracks Row. For foodies: one of the more famous restaurants is Roses Luxury, voted the best new restaurant in the United States in 2014. There are restaurants down 7th Street toward Eastern Market. There are also liquor stores on Pennsylvania Avenue and 8th street. METRO: The Blu , Orange, and Silver lines are at the Potomac Avenue Metro. Buy a SMARTRIP card in the station or use your credit card on both buses and metro. TRANSPORT from AIRPORTS and TRAIN or BUS STATION. The apartment is less than 7 miles from National Airport and a cab in is around $20.00. You can also metro in from the airport, going to LEnfant Plaza and changing to the Blue, Silver or Orange lines to Potomac Avenue Metro Dulles. There is a public bus, the 5A, that comes into LEnfant Plaza for $5.00 where you can take the Blue, Silver or Orange lines to Potomac Avenue Metro. Uber is about 45.00 BWI. you can take the train in to Union Station. See below for how to get to my home from Union Station. Uber is about $45.00 UNION STATION and BUS STATION. Most buses, including the Megabus and other cheap buses to and from NYC and other places go to Union Station. Once there you are in Capitol Hill! Take the local circulator bus to Eastern Market Metro Stop. Or walk if you don?t have a lot of luggage. GROCERY STORES. Yes Organic Market on Eight Street Eastern Market with fresh fruits, veggies, meats, fish, pasta Harris Teeter is less than 3 blocks at the Metro Stop!!
