I'm looking for a tenant who can look after the house for me for discounted rent. It is a 5 bedroom 3 bathroom house. You will live in one of the rooms in the house. I have great tenants and usually don't advertise - simply word of mouth. However my job sometimes has me travelling away for weeks at a time. If interested, send me an email confirming that you can perform all the duties listed below. 1.The ideal applicant will at least have a part time job or be in school and have experience managing property. Must have a computer or laptop. 2.I don't expect you to be a handyman (although that would be a plus) However you should be able to basic maintenance tasks like plunge a toilet. 3.Single occupancy only. Only one person can live in the room. (In your) Room You have your own mini fridge, your own microwave and a partially furnished room. Futon bed available if you need one. Duties include: Administrative Collecting Rent / deposit in bank account Distributing late letters Posting/Renewing ads on craigslist for tenants (when needed) Setting up appointments and pre-qualifying potential tenants (when needed) Letting in contractors and repairmen as needed Janitorial Cleaning common areas at least weekly (or whenever needed). I am very demanding in this regard. This will probably be my most demanding request of you. Ensuring that the tenants keep up with their responsibilities Walking around the house at least once a week and making sure everything is in good working order. Ensuring that the residents keep up the rules of the house. Making sure the exterior of the house is trash free and in order.
