Homey place, more home than apartment, Apartment A is above ground lower (about 610+ SF) in 1910 Madrona triplex. Only three flats, private porch and steps from yard in which you may garden. Other tenants have been there three years. Views from living room and its own spacious view porch just five steps above the unfenced yard. Peaceful yet close-in setting. One of very few duplex, triplexes in the neighborhood, which is overall not a rental area, meaning, it is low density, quiet. Neighborly. Still, the #2 and #3 buses are a couple blocks south on Union and will get you downtown in 15 minutes. Pleasant walk (25 minutes) to Capitol Hill. Tons of good restaurants, coffee shops, etc, two blocks away on 34th Ave. (Hi-Spot, Naam Thai, Cafe Soleil, Red Cow and more). Not far from Lake Washington for quiet walks. Walk score 89. Transit score 65. Situated on the hillside ground floor (Apartment A) of a corner building at the top of Pine street, overlooking Madison Valley and toward Capitol Hill, this is a comfy not large place to live, one of three apartments in the building. Entry is on Pine, not 32nd. The den is at the back of the apartment, through which one must walk to the bath. Not at all an"other bedroom"setup for roommates who are not extremely close. The bedroom, with only a small window, is at the front. This is often used as office/den and back bedroom used as bedroom. Full tub and shower in ho-hum yet spacious bath. Gas stove and gas wall furnace, extra electric heat in den and bath. Washer/dryer in basement is available to be shared with two other apartments (NOT coin-op, tenants use it at will with others). One off-street parking space and plenty of street parking available. Large yard, somewhat vegetable-gardened by some tenants, is only a few stairs down from the long wide back porch, which has a western view. Gas stove. No dishwasher. Previous tenant has portable dishwasher that may be purchased. Responsible dog/cat/bunny owners are welcome with references. Dogs can't be left on their own in yard or on porch.Renter's insurance required for dog liability. Apartment painted in light gold (living room, entry and kitchen), with marmoleum floors in entry and kitchen. Bedroom, den and living room are newly done in wood-looking flooring in a light color. Rent is $1895/month for a one-year lease. Plus, each tenant shares in 1/3 water/sewer-and 1/3 garbage/yardwaste.(about/$150 month) due to free washer/dryer usage with others. Billed every other month. Deposit$1700. Additional pet deposit. No last month's rent is asked unless you are new to area and/or job. Pets need references. One year lease minimum. No smoking IN unit, but allowed outside or on porch. Grass is maintained by owner. Gardening, if chosen, maintained by tenant. 1 Year lease. Parking is easy on street and there is one space to pull in exclusive to you. Pets need references from previous landlord. If tenant wishes to garden in large yard with others, responsible for weeding, etc. Unused parts will be chipped by owner. Lawn is maintained by owner.
