    What's special

Natural bouldersBar areaPlatform deckPrivate outdoor oasisUplit japanese mapleLaundry and generous storageLandscape lighting
Charming from the curb. Full of surprises inside. And just wait until you see the backyard. This beautifully cared-for 1950 home blends original character with thoughtful updates and is truly move-in ready. Timeless landscaping, an inviting front porch, freshly painted exterior, and an uplit Japanese maple create beautiful curb appeal day and night. Inside, the main floor features two bedrooms, a remodeled full bath, original hardwood floors, abundant natural light, and an open-concept living space. The extensively remodeled kitchen pairs white upper cabinets with Santorini Blue lowers, distinctive durable countertops, updated backsplash and flooring, under-cabinet lighting, coffee bar, and eat-in dining area. All kitchen appliances stay. The approximately 90% finished basement offers even more living space, including a non-conforming bedroom/home office, full bath, bar area, laundry and generous storage, plus flexible space currently used as a home gym. And then there's the backyard. Hidden from the street with no backyard neighbors, this private outdoor oasis is a true retreat. A spacious covered patio with natural-gas fire feature adjoins to a platform deck and tree-canopied pergola with a water feature nearby. Flagstone pathways meander through a lush, thoughtfully designed garden with mature evergreens, natural boulders and landscape lighting. A 12' x 24' pool, hot tub (negotiable), wood-burning fire-pit area, workshop and pool shed complete the space. Walking/biking trails are nearby, easy access to main roads & the Historic Haymarket.
What the owner loves about this home
What we've loved most about this home is how comfortable and welcoming it feels, but the backyard has always been something truly special. From the street, you'd never expect the private oasis waiting behind the house. It's where we've spent summer days by the pool, quiet mornings listening to the birds and water feature, evenings under the pergola, and nights gathered around the fire. With no backyard neighbors, mature landscaping and multiple outdoor living spaces, it genuinely feels like our own little retreat. We've also loved living in a quiet neighborhood with wonderful, friendly neighbors while still being incredibly convenient to everything. There's easy access to main streets, making it easy to get around Lincoln, the bike and walking trail system is nearby, and the Historic Haymarket is only 1.3 miles away. We've put a lot of care into this home over the years, inside and out, and made improvements with the intention of making it both beautiful and functional. It's been a wonderful place to call home, and we hope the next owners enjoy it as much as we have.
