Room is the only main floor bedroom & bathroom. It is roughly 140sq ft, with a good sized closet. There is a full wall of west facing windows with a view of the backyard which brings in lots of light if you're into plants! The bathroom is located right outside the room and is yours for day to day use and shared with guests as it's the only bathroom on the main level. Our House is right off SE Hawthorn and is a large 5 bedroom 3 bath home built in 1912. Historical style with some modern updates. We're right on the 14 bus line and walking distance from a few grocery stores and of course all the Hawthorne shops. The neighborhood is street parking only but you'll usually end up within a block or two. We have a large kitchen with separate food areas for us all. Our dining / living room is a cozy common space for everyone. Movies, Sports and Game Nights on occasion. The main living space is fully furnished. Our cat will often be found sleeping on the couches and trying to chat with you. We have a lovely backyard with 3 chickens and also a roof top balcony! We set up specific laundry days for each roommate for ease. Overall we maintain a clean home, expecting everyone to clean up after themselves, keep common spaces tidy, as well as taking on a big chore each month. As a group we enjoy that end of day chit chat in the kitchen while we all rustle up food but mostly enjoy solo downtime after our busy days. We love to host BBQs and sit by the fire in the backyard with friends in the summer. One of us tends to do some sort of group event each month.
