Well before I describe the home, I want to say I have always had this vision that the village of Plymouth would come back to life and be this really nice place to live. I have lived here my whole life and I love it! So, I approached my friend, Ryan, and said let's try to fix up some of the properties in town. He was all for it! He involved his family and has more knowledge than me. We went to work on this home, and it has been a loooong project! We basically gutted the whole house and made everything new except for the existing timber frame of the home. We used reclaimed materials from the Plymouth locomotive mixed with new touches like granite counter tops, all new appliances, new heating and cooling, and first floor laundry. We created a vaulted ceiling in the dining room, highlighting the timber frame of the house and hid a ceramic bird for good luck in the rafters :) Outside it has a nice front porch and rear deck that have been totally redone. The rear deck would be great for entertaining. I hope a nice family comes along and falls in love with it!
