Kalihi area property on quiet hillside street. Close to town and right off the Likelike for easy access to town. Near Fort Shafter and Pearl Harbor. The unit is one of three, and includes the following: Full kitchen On-site laundry Solar Panels + Battery backup. The battery backup means that you will keep power during outages unless the outage lasts for a long time. Tenants will pay one third of the annual electric bill when it comes due (for reference, last year was $300 for the year). In fairness to the other tenants, if one tenant uses obviously much more than the others, we reserve the right to shift the allocation based on best effort estimates. Water & Sewer included in rent. Trash is free. 2 parking spaces (tandem not possible on either). Landlords are very on top of maintenance and repairs and the property is maintained in very good condition. Keep in mind, the road is very steep, and the driveway is banked. Vehicles with good ground clearance are recommended, but we have tenants who drive normal sedans and they know how to get in/out. Please drive by to see the place before setting up a showing appointment. If tenant wants AC, we will pass along proportional electric cost, depending on usage. The place is pretty cool, with good airflow, so we haven't had a tenant request AC yet. We are open to putting in an EV charger if tenant wants, with corresponding extra charge for electric usage. Tenant is otherwise responsible for 1/3 of annual electric bill. Water, Sewer and Trash are included in rent. Cable and internet is available but is tenant's responsibility.
