For back-up there is a new 3kw inverter generator with remote start, so you can start and run it without going outside. However it runs so quietly in a locked sound-enclosure that you may need to open a door or window to hear it running. In addition to the pure sine inverter’s built-in 50 amp charger, the inverter generator is also connected to a brand new additional 50-amp charger, so the huge battery bank tops up very quickly which maximizes the efficiency of the system.
