Northwood is a very quite, friendly community with lots of parks and bike/walking trails. The roads are arranged in a way that funnels most auto traffic onto the main thoroughfares and allows pedestrians to move around efficiently and safely on the side streets. Residents tend to spend a lot of time outdoors doing yard work or socializing with their neighbors. This is truly a wonderful environment for families of all ages and sizes!
