My home is a beautiful 1920's victorian. Located on a quiet street in a bedroom town outside of Hartford, CT. It was updated in 2005 with a new kitchen, laundry area and wiring for these updated areas. The Knob and Tube was replaced with ROMEX wiring in 2008. We have old hemlock trees surrounding the back of the property, giving needed shade in the summer. These trees help to keep the house cool. The bathroom features an original clawfoot tub and pedistal sink. The laundry area is upstairs near the bedrooms for convenience. The house has two decorative stone fireplaces that are original to the house. They are not working at present, but could be retrofitted with a stove to become a functioning fireplace. The gas line is already installed in the living room fireplace. There is a covered side porch off of the kitchen that has a gas line for your gas grill. Great for grilling in the winter. The furnace was replaced in 2010. Exterior was painted in 2014.
