I bought this home in a tax deed sale with the city of Caribou July 15th, 2020. The city provided an inspection report, which I can also provide, that stated the home was in "average" and "good" condition. After they legally transferred ownership to me via quitclaim deed, I have been gathering otherwise. The home clearly needs repairs and perhaps even gutting. I live out of state, halfway across the country, and due to COVID-19, etc. I am interested in selling this home. I had a title lien and encumbrances assessment done and the only outstanding liens were the foreclosure by the city and an unpaid water and sewer bill that I recently received in the mail. The taxes are now paid in full, and I will transfer this home via quitclaim deed for cash, and will agree to pay the unpaid water and sewer bill before transferring title (approximately $900).
