Another room (not featured in pictures because it's currently a wreck of books and boxes) is perfect for a study or office. There is a small, southern exposure deck that's great for morning coffee or catching a little sun. The house is in a quiet part of the 12 South/Belmont area, just a few minutes away from Jeni's, Frothy Monkey, Edley's Barbecue, Five Daughters (!) on one side, and PM, Bongo Java, and the International Market on the other. Vanderbilt is just over a mile away (or about 30 minutes from the Medical Center). Belmont University is only about five minutes away on foot. All utilities are included with rent. Wifi, cable, water, electricity, heat, trash. There is a washer and dryer in the home that are easily accessible, as well as storage for bicycles on the ground floor. One off-street parking space comes with the apartment. A large stainless steel table and steel shelving units will remain with the apartment--we've been using them for kitchen storage and cooking surfaces. This apartment is perfect for a grad student or young professional. The property owner stresses that the resident be quiet, but current tenant (me) has never had trouble with noise complaints and I've never gone out of my way to be especially quiet. Other occupants of the home are quiet and rarely around. Owner pays all utilities. (Wifi and cable included.)
