Outside of reasonable access to public transit unfortunately! All utilities / yard work included. The listing is a monthly lease, and available to move in whenever! The bedroom itself is 10.5'x14.5' with an attached 2'x4.5' closet. Bedroom features: standalone thermostat, carpeted, two windows & window AC unit included. The house is divided into two leased units, with this listing for the first floor, which is shared between two tenants who share the kitchen, bathroom, closets/cupboards, living room, and a small foyer area. The 2nd floor is unleased/used for the landlord's long-term storage. I am currently the only tenant on the lease. Before being introduced to the landlord for the formal lease and background check process, I like to discuss a roommate agreement to make sure shared expectations for the living space feel like a good fit for both of us! The roommate agreement is intended to outline shared expectations for living together in a respectful, comfortable home. It isn't meant as a rigid rulebook but as a guide to ensure our definitions of "home" align before the lease is signed! Open communication is encouraged, and occasional exceptions are understood / met with grace. Full disclosure that the previous rent was set at $1,400 split between two tenants for roughly 7 years. The landlord does not believe in unduly raising rents on tenants actively living in the space, but had to raise it to cover costs. The current rent split is $750 on my share, and $850 on the applicant's. Upon my leaving the unit, the split will be set to $850 for each tenant.
