    What's special

    I'll state the truth: Structurally sound as much work has been done to secure its future. The two fireplaces are no longer functioning and have been capped off at the roofline. The basement is always wet and a dehumidifier must be run 24/7. The room configurations on both floors are awkward and difficult to maneuver and place with furniture. The balcony along the back of the house needs to be rebuilt. Quiet neighborhood most of the time. Small lot size due to previous owner selling property up to 5 feet from the back of the house, although, the fence line is set back five feet and makes the property appear larger than it truly is. During downtown events, people tend to park their cars in the front yard. Many of the beautiful features of the original house have been lost and only hints of its previous grandeur are left. Oddly enough, it only has three bedrooms, so large families won't fit. The house is comfortable inside, but the utility bills will break the bank! Only the second floor is air conditioned, and the air conditioner is on its last leg. It takes long hours over two days to clean the place with normal housework. Spring deep cleaning takes a team! Good neighbors.
