This house has good bones, standing tall on a corner lot close to downtown Victoria. I had originally purchased this with the intent of restoring it and renting out the units, but some financial issues cropped up in the interim and I can no longer afford to make this an income generating investment. Don't let the boarded up doors and windows fool you. The floors, the walls, and the ceiling all appear to be in great condition. (Then again, looks can be deceiving.) On the bottom right unit, however, the floor is lacking to a certain degree. There are parts where you can see through to the ground. But the ceilings appear unscathed from the day they were installed. The floors on the second floor are robust and a polishing will bring them back to life. On the front of the building, the door to the left leads to a large studio-style unit with a kitchen and a bathroom. The unit on the left is another studio-style room with a large kitchen. The octagonal protrusion (for lack of a better term that I can think of at the moment) gives the room an enormous feel. Around back on the bottom floor you will find another room, this one offering a large bedroom/living room on one side, and a decent sized kitchen on the other. Each of the bottom units have their own bathrooms. On the top floor, on the front you can see a boarded off door. That leads to a porch that no longer exists. To the left, you will find a bedroom that is large enough to fit multiple king sized beds and still have room to put exercise equipment, large puzzles ... heck, an elephant would have room to be comfortable. To the right is that bedroom's octagonal kitchen, and a bathroom. Around back is the fifth and final unit. It is a one bed, one bath unit. The living room could accommodate a large sectional, one of those 80" TVs, and still give you space to move around. Suffice it to say, but this building is currently uninhabitable. It will require a substantial amount of work, which is why I have priced it where I did. If you are interested in taking a look and making an offer, please don't hesitate to send me an email.
