This apartment is part of a duplex, and the other apartment in the duplex (apartment #2) is rented short-term through VRBO. We would like to find tenants for apartment #1 who will be good caretakers of the property as a whole and who will be our partners in managing and maintaining both apartments in this duplex. Apartment #1 can accommodate up to 4 people in its 2 bedrooms, so families and groups of responsible roommates are welcome to apply. We'll consider leases of at least 6 months (October - March) or longer, up to a full year, and we'll be happy to renew the lease from year to year for excellent tenants. Tenants will be responsible for: * In the winter, keeping the short walk from the house to the parking area and the front deck cleared of snow. (An electric snowblower and snow shovels are provided.) * In the summer, mowing and trimming the grass when needed. It's unfurnished except for a couch in the living room. There's plenty of parking in the large parking area next to the house. There are decks in front and behind the house, with a great view of the river from the rear deck and from the windows in the back of the house. The Valley Trail runs directly in front of the house, connecting to restaurants and shops and a trail network that runs throughout the area. The Horace Hill Recreation Area, with an extensive network of trails for hiking and biking and an 18 hole disc golf course, is directly behind the house (on the other side of the river).
