The ADU is over 50 feet away from our house, so it offers privacy. Please schedule a viewing. Do not come to property without an appointment. 800 square foot, 1 bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms. Rent is $1850 per month, includes trash service, lawn care, and all utilities except internet. $1850 security deposit. Available starting March 1st, possibly sooner. 6 or 12 month lease to start. No pets. No smoking. There is a separate driveway and parking area for the ADU. The downstairs is an open kitchen, dining, and living area with a utility room/half bathroom. There's a built in reading nook with a bookcase, with a twin mattress that can double as a guest bed (with hidden storage area under the bed). Beautiful wood ceilings. Upstairs is a large 1 bedroom with vaulted ceilings, step in closet, and full bathroom with laundry (brand new washer and dryer). Fort Worden is a 5-minute walk away and there are numerous trails and walking paths in our neighborhood. The ADU has it's own private yard area, and you are welcome to garden. We ask that our tenant and their guests respect our privacy and keep to their designated yard, unless of course we have invited you over for coffee, hang out, etc. We'll stay out of your way except to mow/weed occasionally or do required property maintenance. We currently have Century Link (DSL) for internet service to both houses, and we are in the process of getting Astound cable internet trenched to our property in February or March (also to both houses). No guarantees on timing, it is outside of our control. The gas stove in the ADU should be replaced sometime in February (with a newer gas range). Brand new heating and cooling system for house.
