Room for rent in a shared house in Waldoboro! 3 other housemates. Room is 10'x11', 110 square feet on the first floor with a 2.5'x11', 27.5 square foot, closet. Shared bathroom on the first floor right next to the room. Rent is $550/mo utilities included. South facing so plenty of light in the evenings with beautiful views of the wetland abutting the property and the Medomak river. House has a small flight of 5 stairs to get in. House is on 1 acre, mostly meadow, with space available for gardening. We have chickens and a turtle, plus one dog who spends about half of his time here, and 2 cats who stay in their room. The dog isn't super friendly and needs some adjustment to new people, but is moving out later this year. Pets welcome pending introductions with humans and dog and allergy concerns. We have enough parking and some storage + workout space in the basement. Washer and dryer onsite. We're currently dealing with a rodent problem but we're taking steps to mitigate and remove them (with only mouseX and ratX, traps, and prevention, no poisons that move up the food chain). We try to have a monthly family meal and game night, schedules depending, but are otherwise independent on meals and lives. We collaborate on household chores and projects. Available to move in March 1st. Lease is month to month but we ask for at least 1 months notice before move out. Smoking is allowed on the property but not inside. Pets are allowed but will need to be a conversation about allergies and friendliness with other people and animals.
