The kitchen is full-sized with a dishwasher, gas stove, microwave oven, and ample storage. There is an area just off the living area for a large bed. The bathroom has a large shower. Included with the rent is the water, including hot water, and trash. The tenant pays for electricity and gas. The property is steps away from the Zoo and Balboa Park. Good street parking as there is a school across the street. Attentive onsite manager. Coin-operated laundry, community gas grill, and shaded outside picnic table. The apartment is open for viewing daily until rented, 9AM to 6PM. You do not need an appointment, just go in, the door is open. Saturday, June 20, the apartment is open for viewing but the owner will be away. Owner will be onsite most of Sunday. Information to contact the owner is posted in the apartment. A few notes: 1) Up to 2 indoor cats are permitted. Dogs are not currently accepted; we have numerous dogs in the complex, and I think the dog population is above a reasonable level. 2) As the apartment is ready to be occupied, applications with a prompt move-in date will have priority. 3) There is no application fee. Zillow applications are preferred. Please ask for a conventional paper application if you prefer. 4) While there is no application fee, to begin the application process please submit a check in the amount of $1,000. The check will be held un-cashed until your application is approved. It will then be deposited and regarded as the security deposit. If your application is not accepted, your check will be returned un-cashed. 5) Deposit and rent checks are made payable to "Upas Courtyard Apartments". This studio is offered with a 6-month lease. Up to 2 cats are permitted. Applicants must be local (long-distance applications will not be considered). The unit is move-in ready. The stated square foot size of the apartment is only an estimate. Tenant to verify all items and satisfy self as to acceptability. Good credit is required along with rental references.
