    What's special

    We built this house in 2017 and a room addition in 2023. It is approximately 2000 square feet including a fully finished walkout basement and sits on four acres in a prime location. The main floor consists of an open floor plan with a kitchen (all appliances stay), dining area , and living area with a cathedral ceiling. The main floor also has a large bathroom with a large soaking tub and double sink vanity. There is also a large (23x16) bedroom with cathedral ceiling and walkout deck. The stairs in the living area lead to a loft area which could be used as another bedroom. There is a full basement with nine foot ceilings. There is also a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and double sink vanity in the basement. Off the basement bathroom is a laundry room with large closet. The front of the house has a large porch that stretches the length of the house. There is also a back porch that is accessible through the walkout basement, and a second floor deck which doubles as the roof of a carport. There are two enclosed sheds with attached deck, a three bay open shed with roof and electric fireplace, and another “barn” out building. The barn is fully livable with kitchen, bathroom, living area, and two small rooms which can be used as bedrooms, office space, or for guests or other family members. There is also an upstairs storage area above the barn that is accessed by two staircases that run up each side of the back. It also has a large deck on the back of the barn. The acreage consists of approximately one acre which the house and out buildings sit on, and approximately three acres of woods. We had trials cut through the woods last year. There is also a driveway easement through the top acre for two neighboring houses. We built this house as our forever home. It is very well built with 2x6 outside walls and 2x8 roof rafters. It has wood floors throughout and wood ceilings on the cathedrals. All other walls and ceilings are drywall with knock-down finish. This house is paid for with clear title. We do not need help selling it, and we do not mind staying here until it sells. As of right now, there is an area of the room addition without log siding. The siding will be finished before sale. The siding came in last week and will be installed shortly. The area in question has been protected from weather and would have been installed earlier; however, the family making the siding had a family member in treatment and was delayed in the production of the siding. Please do not contact us unless you are a serious buyer and have pre-approval paperwork. The house will not be shown without an appointment. I added two more bedrooms because the barn is fully furnished with two extra rooms, living space, and a kitchenette.
