Fantastic and walkable small-town East Farmington neighborhood. This is a very family-friendly neighborhood where neighbors look out for each other, an emergency plan is in place, and we get together twice a year just for an outside supper! Within 1/2 mile of Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Few blocks from restaurants, public library, post office, schools, fire station, gas station, and the city pool. You can walk to nearly everything from this location. Three lovely parks are just blocks away - including Woodland Park which has wild blackberries and strawberries, fire pits, and a great little outdoor theater. Also Forbush Park where the Farmington Day's fireworks are every year is very close. Farmington Pond is regularly stocked with fish - one can skate on it in winter and swim in it in summer. Farmington Station and TRAX are across the freeway - only a mile away - as is Lagoon. Roof, Furnace, Central AC and water softener all updated in 2011 and perfect. Original hardwood floors have been recovered, and residual 60s asbestos removed. Fully fenced, mature raspberries, grapes, and plum, apricot, and peach trees. The vegetable garden area was enlarged a couple of summers ago! Mature oregano, thyme, parsley, lavender, calendula, etc. Two storage sheds.
