A tight knit friendly community! Lots of families, close to public schools and very close to Colorado Springs Christian School of Woodland Park, a private Christian School. Woodland Park gives you the sence of living in a small town, but with all the convienaces of Colorado springs just 18 miles away! Andr denver only an hour away! There is fishing, camping and national forests less than 5 miles away, and skiing just 30-40 min away. We are just a few blocks away from the police station, as well as the fire station, and ambulance facilities, so in an emergancy, help is close by. We live only a block from the local 24 hour gym which is nice and big & less than a year old! And the post office is in the same complex as the gym and the Private Christian School. Just up the road is a new city sports complex with a baseball diamond, ice rink, football field and great sledding area! Woodland park has a movie theater, shopping, great resturants, and we're expecting a YMCA in the next year. It's such a lovely community, and even if you work in Colorado Springs like my husband does, the commute is short and very beautiful.
