    Offering up my beautiful little paradise for someone else to enjoy, whether you are a few college students looking for a great deal with an awesome landlord, a single person just trying to find some space to enjoy a few animals in a country setting or a family interested in making a place your own - I am open and flexible to any ideas that will allow you to make this place a home that I truly hope may ground you in the way it has for me. A simple older farm house located just 8 miles from Decorah, this location is absolutely beautiful and truly, these small acreages are becoming more and more difficult to find. Do you want to make your own garden or raise chickens and goats - the space is ready. All pets welcome and I am a landlord that truly would love for you to make this a great fit for you. Take the kayak out on the pond or enjoy a fire under the full moon. I am looking for a renter who will truly just love this home. There is a lot of lawn, nearly 4 acres, two bedrooms and a bathroom up stairs with a smaller third bedroom or potential office downstairs. Large barn, guest house/shed, goat shed and chicken coop are all available for use with a large fenced in area surrounding the goat house for any small livestock you may have, or are interested in. LP tank needs to be filled once per year and I either ask that you plan on filling it at the beginning of the lease, or I am willing to factor LP fill cost into monthly rent over a 12 month lease. Washer/dryer hookups are there but you will need to bring your own. I am renting it with the hopes of finding someone who enjoys the outdoors, nature and whatever projects you may be interested in. But most importantly, I just want the home to be loved and lived in. I am super laid back, willing to negotiate terms on projects you may want to do - just let me know and we can work something out. I'm always available as a landlord to hopefully make this experience something you will always look back upon and be thankful for. Thanks for considering my little home and I can't wait to hear from you :) - Miles Renter pays for all utilities, well water and septic excluded (obviously). Renter to pay for one full LP tank within 60 days of lease signing or I am also willing to factor LP cost into monthly rent. Usually the tank is about 60% used per year so I am willing to negotiate depending on the remaining amount. Animals welcome, I just ask that you please notify me and I approve ahead of time (no lions, tigers, or bears). Dogs and cats are fine inside and outside, just ask for a $200 deposit and written notification. Chickens are ok to free range, but watch out as the coop is definitely not coon proof. I am not the type to pinch pennies or be unfair in any way - just be good to me and I will do the same. Again, I just want someone living at this place that will feel at home and enjoy their time living there. The small guest shed needs some work, I would love to help you help me turn it into a little BnB or livable space.
