A beautiful park selection with public pool, fine tennis courts, lots of playgrounds all over town in every shape and size. With the North Fork of the American River here, we have fishing, rafting, swimming, hiking, biking and horseback trails to offer. Tevis! Amgen! Also a few golf courses, excellent variety of shopping, festivals, fairs, bazaars, and year round farmers market! Auburn is located a close 3 hour drive to either the Pacific Ocean at San Francisco or go East to South Lake Tahoe and it's breathtaking views and snowfall. If you prefer gambling and glitz, Reno is only 1 1/2 hour over Donner Summit. Nice warm summers, and cool wet winters. Occasionally snow, but no more than a dusting and the streets are never closed. Auburn is divided into three sections, Old Town, North Auburn, and Foresthill Exit. Each has it's own flavor and focus. You are smack dab between all three here. Move in and start enjoying!
