    What's special

    Fully furnished studio casita located on our 21 acre property about 6 miles north of Sonoita. The casita is freshly refurbished with a full kitchen; bathroom with shower, sink and toilet; and, a shared laundry room. The casita includes cookware, dishes and cutlery. Water is from a well and utilities, as well as WifI (StarLink), are included. The casita is located next to our home and sits in a level, pleasant environment with a lawn area, mesquite and pine trees. We are about 10 minutes from Sonoita, 35 minutes from Vail and 45 minutes from the Tucson airport. BLM land adjoins and there are plenty of places to go hiking or go for easy walks. We do have a horse facility and would consider a horse for an extra fee. Dogs are welcome, if they are well trained and behaved. Available on a month to month basis, with one month options to renew. We will consider a longer term rental after a few months on a month to month basis once we establish that your tenancy is a good fit for you and ourselves. All utilities, trash disposal and WiFi are included, as is well water. Dogs only if these are well trained and have no behavioral issues. We would ask for an additional $200.00 deposit for a dog. We do not allow smoking inside and smoking outside is permitted in a designated area. Cigarette butts left on the ground or smoking in other areas are cause for termination as we do have fire risks during the dry season. No drugs of any kind. There is an uncovered, designated parking area. We value our privacy and are looking for a tenant who can respect this, and does not bring drama to our place. Of note, in order to get to our place, one must cross an arroyo, which may, during the rainy season, become impassible for a day or two. This has happened about 4 times over the course of the last five years. We do have a rough, emergency egress, if necessary. We ask that applications are made to us through messaging inasmuch as the Zillow applications are unnecessarily intrusive, for both landlords and tenants, and appear to be designed to collect data. We will require references.
