We are situated overlooking the lake with fabulous golf course views from a third floor unit (of four) with elevator. Lakewood National is the hottest golf complex around right now and features two of the second to last courses Arnold Palmer designed before his passing. The best part is that all you need to pay to take unlimited advantage of these courses is a one off charge of only $200 + tax, (currently $14). This means that whether you stay for a month or for years, $214 is all you'll pay to play as many times as you like if you "walk" the course after 2 PM or a low $25.00 cart charge for times prior. There are no greens fees! There is literally nothing else out there quite like this golfers dream! This same courtesy is also extended to your spouse/partner. Browse the pro shop, practice your swing and putting, even book lessons if you like. The one off charge also grants you unlimited access to all of the following amenities which Lakewood National has to offer. This includes the resort style, zero entry mega pool with waterfalls, the indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant (tiki bar and grill), the huge fitness center with optional classes, the full service spa, tennis, pickle ball and bocce ball. There's even a satellite swimming pool one minutes walk from the unit for added convenience. The unit itself offers 1260 square feet of comfortable accommodation with living area, dining area, kitchen, breakfast nook, screened in lanai (perfect for morning breakfast and coffee or for relaxing with an evening glass of wine), master bedroom with en suite bathroom, second bedroom, second bathroom and laundry. There's a 55" flat screen smart TV in the living area and a 40" flat screen smart TV in the master bedroom as well as wifi throughout. Lakewood Ranch itself has a thriving nightlife with busy Main Street including top restaurants and bars. There's even a top of the line hospital! A 40 minute drive or so gets you to the fabulous beaches of Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key, Siesta Key and Holmes Beach to name but a few. It's quite common to see manatees and dolphins playing in the warm ocean waters. The unit is turn key and ready to go - all you have to do is put food in the fridge and bring your clubs, swimming gear and sunscreen! Please note the rent increases to $4500.00 in December and to $5270.00 in January. Florida law demands that we charge a 12% sales tax for ALL stays of less than 6 months duration. We require a cleaning fee of $175.00. (This is EXACTLY what we're charged by the cleaning company). Please therefore be sure to bear these charges in mind. As mentioned earlier, most pets are okay with us. We're pet lovers ourselves and once had 6 dogs and 3 cats at the same time... We have a strict NO SMOKING policy both on the premises itself, out on the lanai/deck and in or nearby the building itself. If this might be a problem for you, please DON'T apply! Lastly, upon booking, we require half of the total immediately. This is totally refundable any time up to 60 days prior to arrival. After this time, the balance plus the potentially totally refundable damages deposit is due. NO refund will be offered after this point. We strongly recommend vacation insurance should the unforeseen occur.
