    This home has been completely remodeled and updated from the crawlspace to the roof. The crawlspace has plenty of useable storage and is insulated. The house has new wiring, plumbing, gas, energy saving multi-zone HVAC, new energy saving windows. All drywall was removed to check for rot and to add insulation and new utilities. There are vegetable planters with high quality soil for gardening, a large greenhouse perfect for a quiet reading space outdoors, many fruit trees including a large black walnut tree that could support a fantastic tree house with a flat playground area under that already has a nice swingset with swings, a slide, a fort, climbing wall and a sandbox with a great shaded area to hold a hammock. There is a deck in the front yard which is a great place to entertain and watch fireworks on the 4th of July and New Years Day. There is also a deck in the backyard perfect for Grilling and spending time with the family which also has great views of the bay and on a clear day you can even see the Golden Gate Bridge. The front and back yards are both very low maintenance with established young drought tolerant plants that grow, adding more beauty to the home, every year. The location is far enough from the city to avoid the crime, but is still close enough to Bart and 3 highways to get anywhere in the bay from San Jose to Oakland to San Francisco and Half Moon Bay for a nice beach day quickly and easily. It is also about equal distance from downtown San Leandro, downtown Castro Valley, and downtown Hayward. In addition to that we have some of the nicest Bay Area Weather and California weather as a whole. We are ranked 8.7 on the comfort index with 260 sunny days that hardly ever get above 75 degrees and averages closer to 72 degrees, not usually getting lower than about 50 in the winter.
