The air conditioning unit is older but in good working condition (we ran it).There are two separate Florida rooms, one is accessible as mentioned above, via the carport, and the other is accessible via the living room. The one off the living room has very nice double siding doors for access. This room also has a separate window-type air conditioner to allow more seasonal use of the room. Wood laminate floors in this Florida room, too. The Florida room off the carport has indoor/outdoor carpeting, vinyl sliding windows and screens, of course.The kitchen has a faux wood wallpaper, cabinets neatly painted (and appear to have new hardware), and a newer stainless steel sink. The refrigerator has been upgraded from the original. Range, dishwasher, and microwave included, of course. The kitchen floor is a nice one-piece vinyl replacing the original.Four fans in all, dining room, living room, and both bedrooms. Lots of mirrors on the walls. Vertical drapes pretty much throughout. Walk-in closets, extra storage cabinets. Two televisions included (we tested the one in the living room, worked fine) , the carpets are in good condition.Pictures tell the rest of the story. Check our website for more pictures (61 pictures!).Spanish Lakes Country Club Village (SLCCV), in Fort Pierce, Florida, is located just a mile from U.S.1 and only a few miles from both Florida's Turnpike and I-95. Spanish Lakes Fairways (SLF) is adjacent to I-95 (at Exit 138) and only a few miles west from US1. SLCCV and SLF are just a few miles from Vero Beach restaurants, entertainment, shopping (including the area's only outlet mall), art galleries, museums and botanical gardens, churches, and medical facilities.In addition to the FREE GOLF FOR OWNERS at the Spanish Lakes facilities (SLCCV-9 holes, SLF-18 holes), Island Pines Golf Course, a full-size course, is close by. Island Pines is open to the public and frequently offers coupon discounts making it quite inexpensive. Other good full-length golf courses are within 10 minutes of either Spanish Lakes facility.Historic downtown Fort Pierce is the home of the Sunrise Theater where great entertainers such as Bill Cosby are often the headliners during "the season". If you like baseball, the New York Mets spring training games are a short drive away at Digital Domain Park in Port St. Lucie. And, during the summer the St. Lucie Mets (Class A, Advanced) play often at Digital Domain Field. Most games are open seating and often coupon discounts are available for food and tickets.And then there are the beaches! Drive over one of several causeway bridges to North or South Hutchinson Island where you will find state parks and FREE beaches galore! You can visit the Navy Seal Museum, then walk across the parking lot to the beach to swim or watch the windsurfers at play!
