Be a part of history by joining the community at The Establishment. The Establishment is a 19 room house in the railroad district of San Luis Obispo. This 1890's historic house has a long history in SLO. It was a flop house, house for railroad workers, a brothel, and various hotels. It was even visited by Jack Kerouac. We welcome applicants at any time, but currently there is a large room available. The room is on the front down-stairs corner of the house and has both an exterior and interior door. It is ~800 sq ft plus a large stand-able loft. It has a full wall of high windows. The room can accommodate two people easily. Rent is $1600. Deposit is $1500. This includes most utilities and a small storage area. There is a small monthly fee for internet. Street parking is available. No pets. The room is available on June 15th. The lease is month-to-month. The house has one large shared kitchen and den, a lovely yard with lots of bike parking, and four shared bathrooms with fun themes. Each housemate has their own fridge space and pantry space for food. The housemates are of varying age ranges, professions, interests, and lifestyles but they share the common goal of living in a community. There's always something to do or someone to eat with but also room to have your own private space. Housemates commit to a weekly rotating chore as well as involvement in house activities. It's a great place to meet life-long friends. If interested message me an email with a little about yourself. Month to month
