It has hardwood floors, high ceilings, ceiling fans, central AC, wi-fi, full bathroom, bedroom on the second floor with king-size bed, an open-floor living room, a study upstairs, kitchen, front porch and a nice backyard. New stove, Nespresso coffee machine, washer/dryer. The central ductless AC units are great because you can control them separately (e.g. the first floor and second floor; or kitchen and living room, etc.) and they consume much less than a big traditional central unit. This is a quiet, safe area three blocks from Carrollton avenue (the main/old streetcar line, bike lane, etc.). There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, book stores, etc. on Carrollton avenue, on nearby Oak street and the Riverbend, etc. This house is ideal for those who do a summer internship in New Orleans or just come to visit for a longer period (at least two months, preferably three months). One can get easily anywhere in the city by using Carrollton or Claiborne avenues. 15 min. driving to the French Quarter; only a few minutes to Uptown, Mid-City, etc., close to Ochsner Hospital on Jefferson or Ochsner Baptist on Napoleon, etc. Summer sublet from mid-May to mid-August (not sure about exact dates yet, both dates are negotiable, could be even from beginning of May until end of August). Minimum two months rental. $950/month + utilities (water $50/month; gas/electric - depending on your consumption; high-speed internet $50/month). Deposit of $950. Please, no animals.
