Our home is on the south end of Lopez Island, a 24km (15 mi) long island with 2,200 people in the San Juan Islands, which were voted #1 island in the US by trip advisor and the #3 destination in the US by Lonely Planet. The home has a view of Iceberg Point, the Salish Sea (Strait of Juan de Fuca), and the Olympic Mountains. You can relax and enjoy the slow pace of island life or participate in one of the many activities: kayaking, biking, hiking/walking, and orca whale watching. The house has two bedrooms (one queen and two twins), 1.5 bathrooms, washer/dryer, dishwasher, Bose sound system, TV, and fast Wi-Fi (fiber with 100+ Mbps download speed). Lopez is a serene and magical place. You'll see bald eagles, deer, seals, and if you are lucky, orcas from the bluff. The stars on a clear night are amazing. There are dozens of farms on the island. Everybody waves when passing another car on the road. Lopez Island has everything you'd want for a holiday...and more. The home is fully furnished and is available October 1, 2022 thru May 31, 2023 and can be rented for 30+ days of any duration, to be agreed upon at the rate of $6,500 per month. Utilities and internet are included in the rent. A comprehensive reusable tenant screening report made available by a consumer reporting agency will be accepted.
