Campground of the Rockies is a very unique community comprised of RV camping sites with amenities you won’t see in your everyday camping. As you enter the gated community you’ll be greated with a mountain setting playground, next is the clubhouse with picnic tables and a firepit. Enjoy the indoor pool or play a little outdoor pickle ball or tennis. How about some sand volleyball or some horseshoes? And for your extended stays there’s a coin-laundromat, community restrooms and showers. Plenty of hiking trails and just a short drive to Buena Vista for a some river rafting, or FairPlay and Hartsel for your shopping and restaurant needs. Or stop on the way at Antero Reservoir for a little lake water fun. The site itself sits towards the top of the community with two camping trailers that are included and set up for your camping needs. Both with plenty of sleeping arrangements, camping kitchens, and in inclement weather, sit inside at the cozy tables and eating areas. There’s electricity on the property with water and a dump station along with bathrooms and showers a short walk away. Enjoy your stay for up to 6 months a year divided however you want. Stay 6 months at a time or divide your time in as many visits as you like not to exceed 6 month annually.
