    What's special

This adorable bungalow is nestled in a historic Everett neighborhood. Young families and retirees have moved to our area, working diligently to make the it truly amazing. Our home is 2 blocks from the local K-5 school, Whittier Elementary. According to our local newspaper, it’s one of the most diverse schools in Washington where the kids wear uniforms and there is an active PTA. We’re near Providence Hospital, rated one of the top 100 hospitals in the Nation. Everett Community College is 3 blocks north of us; their gym and sports field is less than 2 blocks south. We are within biking distance of downtown and can walk to Legion or Grand Avenue Parks, both of which have an amazing view of the Olympic Mountain Range, islands of Port Gardner Bay, and the Everett Marina. We leave our vehicles at home and walk to the 4th of July fireworks! Whether on foot or bike, you can connect with our neighbors, most of whom are out several times a week with a spouses, kids, or dogs. There is also a state of the art Cancer Treatment Center next to Providence Hospital and serious discussion about soliciting a four-year University to take root in our neighborhood. Northwest Neighborhood is known for our historic homes and tree-lined streets; the late Senator Henry "Scoop" Jackson called our neck of the woods home. Our Neighborhood Association meeting is held monthly at a local retirement community. Proudly, our Northwest Neighborhood received a grant for a 2-year project to stabilize a receding slope at Grand Avenue Park, adding retaining walls skillfully decorated with stones and recycled concrete, finished with a beautiful array of indigenous plants and herbs. The P-Patch as we call it links to the new Bayside Park, which offers walking paths & benches with spectacular views of Northwest sunsets. Our house has had $75,000 of upgrades & is on a large lot with several varieties of trees. The size is relatively small but quality is paramount. We're happy to call it home!
