I call this house "The Yellow Door" - is it your next home? This home makes great use of it's compact 944 sq feet, with a space in the kitchen for a small dining table, and two full bathrooms (one ensuite). I lived here for six wonderful years - it got me through the pandemic! I hope it can become a safe and homey space for someone new to land. The third bedroom is smaller than the other two bedrooms - best suited as a single person's room with a twin-sized bed, or it would also make a perfect office or craft room. (It could accommodate a full-size bed, but with very little additional space.) Options to tour the home include scheduling for self-viewing with a code and connecting afterwards by phone to discuss questions, OR setting up time to meet at the home with me. Currently available times represent self-tours. Accompanied tours can be set up individually. Pets are allowed - please share pet information to determine pet rent, which can vary by number and type of pet. I encourage, but do not require, renter's insurance. There is a fully-fenced, 4 foot chain link fence, as well as a car port. The driveway provides space for up to 4 cars, and makes it easy to turn around and exit the driveway forward-facing onto Alston Avenue. Available to rent starting August 1 (start date may be slightly negotiable, depending on specific situations). Viewings available starting June 19th. Leasing for a one-year contract, with possibility to either extend by full year(s), or to transition to month-to-month, after that time. I prefer to rent this home furnished. That would two queen beds, one twin bed, living room couch and chairs, and some dressers, tables, and shelving. It also includes kitchen dishes, silverware, and basic cookware. This would make it ideal for students or recent transplants to the area. However, if you are interested in the home in an unfurnished or semi-furnished condition (where I remove some but not all furnishings), this could be possible for an additional one-time fee. Tenants would be responsible for taking over the electricity, natural gas (for the stove), and water bills, as well as their own internet and/or cable services. Thankfully, the home is very efficient, and monthly utilities are quite reasonable (I would be happy to share average costs for those with serious inquiries.) Bi-weekly lawn maintenance from mid-March to mid-November will be provided and is included in the listed rent. However, if you would prefer to maintain the lawn yourself, we can discuss a rent credit of up to $100 per month during those 8 months of the year.
