We are a US foreign service family living abroad and renting our much loved home for a one-year lease. The house is a large 4bdrm/3.5 bath in a beautiful neighborhood ideally located within walking distance to several restaurants and shops, and a five minute drive into Del Ray or Shirlington. The house is a renovated cape cod with a three story addition on the back -- about 3100 square feet with a finished basement (hardwood floors, natural light). The kitchen is bright, with light gray carrera marble, skylights, and white cabinets, that opens up into a large family room and a two tiered back porch overlooking the landscaped, fenced yard. Separate dining room and living room, as well as a guest bedroom, are also on the first floor. The light-filled master suite upstairs includes a walk-in closet and a small office. Hardwood floors, chair rails, built-in bookshelves, a separate laundry area with a second refrigerator, and tons of storage in the attic and basement are some of the amenities. Pets are welcome on a case-by-case basis. We have included a few pictures (mostly from my iPhone, so not the best quality), but we happy to arrange a tour over Skype (and in person once COVID lifts) or send more pics.
