What I love about this place: The Space. . . High ceilings, open, industrial. A real loft. Plenty of room for gatherings. Just hosted a football party for 15 comfortably. Great usable space for a 1 bedroom. And very noise insulated. Pampered subway tile shower, new kitchen appliances, washer/dryer and a sweet bedroom closet set up. Fun touches like a bottle opener on the timber beam and chalk board paint to leave your peeps messages in the kitchen. Views of downtown and Damen Ave. The Neighborhood. . . 6 corners and all the area's playground is right out your front door. Quiet neighborhood streets for jogging, dog park across the road and plenty of great shops, restaurants and bars in lazy-walking distance. Hot Chocolate, Bluebird and Silver Cloud are quite literally just out the front door, great for those really cold winter nights. The blue line is only 3 blocks when you need to get downtown or to O'Hare. The Building. . . The old Ludwig drum factory, and you can still tell in the details. Its a cool that doesn't come with most condo's. Great neighbors. On-site building manager is awesome. Well landscaped outdoor spaces. Secured building & grounds. 24/7 Exercise room (with legit equipment). Bike storage. Basement locker storage. Roof deck. And possibly the largest elevator in the city. Seriously. Its huge. Parking. . . Bonus, you get some options on this. I have a rented indoor (heated) garage spot. I also rent out my gated outdoor spot. You can have both, one or the other. Your choice to configure. The garage spot is an additional $250 but I rent the outdoor spot for $100. About you:Respectful enough to keep in good keeping with the neighbors and building association. Responsible with timely payments. Willing to change your own lightbulbs. Might have a pet, but a very well behaved one. Ready for a new, awesome pad on Feb 1 (or shortly thereafter).
